Starting from Karakol, travel deep into the eastern Tian Shan mountains near the Chinese border, where only a few travelers ever reach. Cross the dramatic Tyuz Pass at over 4,000 meters above sea level, hike through glacier valleys, camp under the stars, and witness breathtaking panoramas of some of the highest peaks in Central Asia, including views toward Khan Tengri Peak.

Early in the morning, depart from Karakol by 4×4 vehicle and drive toward the remote Sary Jaz region located near the eastern border of Kyrgyzstan. The road itself is part of the adventure, passing through mountain valleys, rivers, and dramatic landscapes rarely visited by tourists.
After several hours of off-road driving, arrive at Echkilitash, the starting point of the trek. From here, begin hiking through the beautiful Tyuz Valley surrounded by wide alpine meadows and snowy mountain peaks.
In the late afternoon, arrive at the first campsite near the river. Enjoy dinner in the wilderness with panoramic mountain views

After breakfast, continue trekking deeper into the valley toward the base camp of Tyuz Pass. Today’s route follows remote mountain trails, glacier rivers, and rocky terrain surrounded by untouched alpine scenery.
Along the way, cross mountain rivers without bridges and pass through isolated high-altitude landscapes where nomadic shepherds sometimes bring their animals during summer months. The region feels completely wild and far from civilization.
By evening, arrive at the base camp below Tyuz Pass. The surrounding scenery becomes more dramatic as glaciers and snow-covered peaks appear closer.

Today is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Early in the morning, begin the ascent to Tyuz Pass at approximately 4,000 meters above sea level. The climb is steep in some sections, but the views from the top are absolutely unforgettable.
From the pass, enjoy panoramic views over glaciers, massive mountain ranges, and distant peaks including the legendary Khan Tengri area during clear weather conditions.
After spending time at the summit, descend carefully into the spectacular Enilchek Valley. Continue trekking through rocky terrain and glacier landscapes before reaching the Chon-Tash campsite in the evening.

After breakfast, continue hiking along the Enilchek Valley surrounded by dramatic glacier scenery and powerful mountain rivers. The route follows remote trails rarely visited by ordinary travelers and offers incredible views throughout the day.
Cross the Enilchek River and continue toward the base area of Nansen Peak, which rises nearly 5,700 meters above sea level. The atmosphere here feels truly remote and untouched, with giant mountain walls surrounding the valley.
Arrive at the campsite in the afternoon and enjoy the peaceful mountain environment far away from civilization.

On the final day, continue trekking along the Enilchek Valley toward At-Jailoo. The route passes through wide alpine landscapes, glacier rivers, and remote mountain terrain.
After the hike, board a military-style truck or off-road vehicle for the long journey back toward Karakol. The drive offers one final chance to admire the wild beauty of eastern Kyrgyzstan and its enormous mountain landscapes.
Arrive in Karakol in the evening.
