Airport → Bishkek City

Arrival at Manas International Airport, where your guide will meet you and transfer you to Bishkek city. After hotel check-in and some time to rest, begin exploring the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Visit Ala-Too Square, Victory Square, Oak Park, and the central part of the city while learning about Bishkek’s Soviet history and modern local life. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Bishkek → Burana Tower → Chon Kemin Valley

After breakfast, drive to the ancient Burana Tower, one of the most important historical sites in Kyrgyzstan dating back to the 11th century. Explore the open-air museum with ancient balbals and enjoy panoramic views of the Chuy Valley.

Continue to the beautiful Chon Kemin Valley surrounded by mountains and forests. In the afternoon, explore the village or enjoy optional horseback riding through the hills. Optional traditional horse games performance is available in the evening.

Chon Kemin → Semenovka & Grigorievka Gorges → Karakol

After breakfast, travel along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake toward Karakol town. On the way, stop at the scenic Semenovka and Grigorievka Gorges, known for their alpine landscapes, forests, and rivers.

Enjoy lunch in traditional yurts surrounded by nature before continuing the drive to Karakol. In the evening, try local cuisine at a traditional café and explore the atmosphere of this mountain town.

Karakol → Jeti-Oguz → Kok Jaiyk Valley → Skazka Canyon → Bokonbaevo

After breakfast, visit the famous Jeti-Oguz Gorge, known for its red rock formations called the “Seven Bulls.” Continue with a short hike through Kok Jaiyk Valley to the beautiful waterfall viewpoint.

Later, drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake and explore the colorful Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon with its unusual rock formations shaped by wind and erosion.

Arrive in Bokonbaevo village in the evening. Optional swim in Issyk-Kul Lake and folklore show are available.

Bokonbaevo → Eagle Hunter → Ak Sai Canyon → Son-Kul Lake

In the morning, meet a traditional eagle hunter and learn about the ancient nomadic hunting traditions of Kyrgyzstan.

Continue driving toward Son-Kul Lake, one of the country’s most beautiful alpine lakes located at over 3,000 meters above sea level. On the way, stop at the dramatic Ak Sai Canyons and hike to panoramic viewpoints overlooking the canyon landscapes.

Arrive at Son-Kul Lake surrounded by wide open pastures, grazing horses, and nomadic yurts. Experience authentic nomadic life and taste traditional kymyz.

Success in the Tien Shan requires meticulous planning. Kyrgyzstan’s climate is as diverse as its landscape, with temperatures swinging from +40°C in the valleys to -5°C at the passes.

  • If you have heavy items like a camera with a lens or special equipment, you can hire an extra porter for 55 USD per day. One porter can carry up to 15 kg, including their own items.
