Welcome to Rocklands Travel. Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully. By using rocklandstravel.com (the “Website”) and submitting a booking for our services (the “Booking”), you acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by the terms outlined below.
Throughout this document, Rocklands Travel LLC is referred to as the “Company,” and the person making the Booking is referred to as the “Client.”
1. The Booking Process
1.1 Confirmation: A Booking is officially confirmed only once the required deposit is received and the Company issues a written confirmation.
1.2 Customization: Individual tours are arranged upon agreement with a booking manager. Group (Fixed-Date) tours are guaranteed to operate on listed dates, barring instances of Force Majeure (Section 10).
1.3 Requirements: Our expeditions often require specific physical fitness, equipment, or permits. These are detailed in your specific itinerary; it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they meet these requirements.
2. Pricing & Payment
2.1 Dynamic Pricing: Prices on our website may fluctuate due to seasonal demand, transport costs, or supplier adjustments. The final price is fixed only upon the issuance of your official invoice.
2.2 Inclusions: Only the services explicitly listed in your itinerary are included. Personal expenses, international airfare, and additional services are paid separately.
2.3 Deposits: Your Booking becomes effective upon receipt of the deposit. By paying the deposit, the Client accepts these Terms and the pricing stated in the invoice.
3. Changes & Cancellations by the Client
We understand that plans can change. To protect our local partners and logistics, the following terms apply to all cancellations (notified in writing via email):
Private & Custom Tours:
From Payment Date: 5% of the total cost is non-refundable.
90–31 Days Before Departure: 15% of the total cost is retained.
30 Days or Less: 25% of the total cost is retained.
Group Tours (Fixed-Date):
From Payment Date: 10% of the total cost is non-refundable.
90–30 Days Before Departure: 25% of the total cost is retained.
30 Days or Less: 35% of the total cost is retained.
Note: Changing a tour date more than 30 days before departure is free of charge. Within 30 days, a fee of up to 15% may apply.
4. Cancellation by the Company
The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour due to significant safety concerns, including extreme weather, road closures, or political instability. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund of the amount paid to the Company. We are not liable for external expenses (e.g., non-refundable flights or visas).
5. Health, Insurance & Safety
5.1 Personal Responsibility: Adventure travel in Kyrgyzstan involves inherent risks. All Clients must sign a Release Form prior to departure.
5.2 Mandatory Insurance: Travel insurance is not included. Clients must maintain comprehensive insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and baggage.
5.3 Medical Fitness: Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for the physical demands of the tour.
6. Conduct & Local Laws
Clients must respect the laws, customs, and traditions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Company reserves the right to remove any Client from a tour, without a refund, if their behavior is disruptive, dangerous, or illegal.
7. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any disputes shall first be addressed through amicable negotiation. Should a resolution not be reached, all claims are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
